    Not sure why all the bad reviews on this place.  Is it a 5 star resort dining experience. No... but you don't (or shouldn't) expect that from a place that has a walk up window, only outdoor seating on a small porch-like patio and has chili burger special that includes chili cheese fries and a soda for $6.
    The staff is always friendly.
    Food is decent. Again, it's not filet mignon but if you come to a burger joint, you don't want filet!

    I think you guys and your food is good... AND the burgers are not THAT small.

    Sloppy and fire. Just the way I love my food!! I got the chili cheese burger special and I had no regrets. All the food looks homestyle so I'm sure everything else is just as good. Parking sucks but if you lived in LA long enough then you'd already know thatttt

    I have been here several times for breakfast and have always found the food to be of high quality,inexpensive and quick counter service. Sitting outside watching the hubub on Pico always fun. But this place has chiliburgers in its name and to that I write this review/ Tom's is located between Oki Dog and the famous Capitol one. The former serves adequate hamburgers but wonderful hot dogs and  the latter the best messy burger in town bacon chili saturated the bun as opposed to the brilliantly prepared burger #1 LA burger at Mo Better Burger, which is hardly messy at all. The chii here is weak,unflavorful, the meat dry and bun hardly messy at all. Rather lackluster on a street of superstars. I.ll stick to breakfast.

    Went this morning to buy a breakfast burrito and a number 5 breakfast plate. the eggs were raw on the breakfast plate and on the burrito. I have a really bad stomach ache and the guy behind the counter smelled like liquor. worst service I ever had at this location.

    I love this place, been coming here for many years, and the employees are very friendly. The food is good, the bacon avocado burger is amazing, and their fries are very good. They take orders over the phone, so you can just go pick it up, you pay when you get there.  The prices are a bit high though, but that's the only thing I dislike, lol.
